Announcing an Innovative Approach to S61
Main Rotor Blade Pocket Replacement
The S61 main rotor blade is constructed using a system
of aluminum channel and rib pockets bonded to a spar. These
pockets are expensive to replace and are sometime in very
short supply. To address this problem, Rotor-Tech International
has engineered and received FAA approval to refurbish and
replace pockets, allowing for a fast AOG turn-around at the
most competitive price in the industry.
